William "Skip" Coad, Vietnam veteran and a proud United States Marine died Thursday night, April 28, 2016 at his home in California. He was a 1964 graduate of Auburn High school in Rockford, Illinois and he joined the Marines shortly after graduation. I always refer to Bill as our Marine who guards the West Coast.  Semper Fi. Thank you for your service and thank you for 64 years of friendship. You died too soon. Condolences and deepest sympathy to his family and those who loved him. Pugo

One of these days I'll write the story of Bill "Skip" Coad's funeral.
