Earl M. Breon, 1920 -2013
 
Earl M. Breon, of Machesney Park, 92 passed away 10:08 pm, Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, in SwedishAmerican Hospital of injuries received in an automobile accident on Jan. 9, 2013.
 
Earl was born Feb. 26, 1920 in Winnebago, the son of William and Esther (Wakefield) Breon. He married the former Aleathea Kemp in Louisiana, Dec. 25, 1945. Earl was a retired machinist from Babcock-Wilcox. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Army in the European Theater. Member of Grace United Methodist Church, VFW Post #9759, and Frat. Order of Eagles.
 
He enjoyed participating in military events especially riding in the WWII Half Track vehicle in the parades. Survivors include his wife, Aleathea Breon of Machesney Park; daughter, Donna (Al) Poluyanskis of Machesney Park; grandchildren, James (Sue) Marston of Plainfield, IL; Tonya (Jon) Fritz of Freeport, IL; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Samantha, and Brianna Marston and Nick Fritz; great-nieces and –nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Wallace Breon.
 
Visitation at funeral home from 5 pm – 7 pm, Friday, Feb. 1, 2013.
 
Services at 11:00 am, Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., 215 N. Sixth St., Rockford, IL 61107.
 
Pastor Pam Rossmiller of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
